Bob, not to change the subject but will my Stainless marine "dry" setup be ok with my new injuns?Someone told me when you get over 512 cubes i need Stellings or Eickerts exhaust?
Looking good there Dave. |
John, you would probably wake the motors up a little in mid range and definetly pick up hp, especially above 5000. But is it really worth the expense. Your exhaust isn't that old and I think your motors are on a 31 or 32 inch center which makes things a little tight. Didn't Ike look into doing some other exhaust and the Stainless was about the narrowest? If ya need more.....get blown!

Thanks Bob, i dont need more power just making sure those puppies will breathe ok.As far as getting blown thats none of your business.:D

Can't use KE's with a centrifugal blower.

Mcollinstn you are definetly correct there definetly isn't much room for a compressor in front of the exhaust log. Actually in this case, how many Apache's have you seen with a procharger? Warpaint would be no different....up thru the hatch baby!

Thanks for the ideas Bob. I was planning to plumb in a 45* elbow to kick the front water hookup out but will see what moving the alt. looks like. I suspect with my closed cooling it will be tough.

I'm runnning Corsa Captains Call on my Eickerts. Just give Corsa a call, and they'll sort you out. Bob's right, too - the dimensional data is on Eickerts web site.

Originally posted by C_Spray Eickert makes a tee kit that you can fit to feed the water in between the first and second cylinders. Works neat. Can't be, that would be too easy.... I'll check into it C-spray, thanks for the tip. ;) Dave |
