Orange Courtesy Light Buttons

1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know if you can still buy the little orange buttons (pictured here in the upper left). I've looked at West, Overton's and tried Formula. Haven't tried Radio Shack yet. If I have to I can replace them all. But, I was hoping to find a matching replacement.

Thanks,

Brent

give us a better pic of them.... you can try www.partsexpress.com or do a search for switches on the net..

Sorry I wish I could post a better pic. That's the only pic of them I have now and the boat is a couple of hours away at the Marina. Thanks for the tip - I will search there. Any (older) Formula owner will recognize these. Formula used these buttons on everything for years.

Thank you,

Brent

Send me a picture. I can't download. I use a lot of electronic parts suppliers, I'll see what I can find.

JC Whitney.
Pretty sure they have them

Formula doesn't have a source???

Thanks guys. I'll try JC Whitney.

I was hoping to get more help from Formula. But, maybe I didn't talk to the right person. Plus my boat in an '85 so much of this stuff isn't made anymore.

I've just bought a 1989 292 an I'm convinced I recognise the switches. (My dad was an electronics engineer). I'll have a hunt around.

Yes, I'm sure your 292 has at least one of those orange buttons. My dad's 272 has one to operate the courtesy lighting under the seats in the cabin.

I appreciate the help. Those buttons tend to go out and I can't seem to get them from Formula anymore. (We used to get them from Formula for my dad's 272). Three of my four buttons won't stay depressed.

Also, does your 292 have the little liquor bottles you see in the pic above? (One of mine was broken). After much searching I located an exact replica of them at Crate and Barrell in Dallas, TX for $44.00 each.

Thanks again

Don't think it should have them, unless all of them are missing.

Interesting - They must have switched over to a different type of switch by then. Maybe that's why these little buttons are so hard to find.

Thanks

1991 still used the orange switch.
Still had the little pump liquor bottles also.

Wow that's weird. What size is your '91. I don't know why that '89 292 doesn't have those little buttons.

1991 F311SR1
