Arizona Speed & Marine Mercury 575 SCi Boost Kit

Has anyone installed the Arizona Speed & Marine Mercury 575 SCi Boost Kit? What effect did it have on idle, black sooting of transom, etc? Did the recalibration of the ECU cause any noticeable differences? The engines are in a Bobby Moore rigged 2003 36' Skater.
