exhaust

350 magnum 300hp with stock exhaust thru transom.how much hp gain will i get with gill exhaust or headers?

Probably not too much at 300 HP (just my opinion).

I constructed a 300hp sbc on my desktop 2000 to see what changing from stock to exhaust to small tube headers would do. Changing nothing but the exhaust to headers netted about 65hp. Gils are not headers and would net zero gain for sure, in my opinion.

I am considering going with Dennis Moore's aluminum replacement manifolds to save some weight and pick up a little more power for a similar application. Don't know if anyone has had any experience with these?

By "small tube headers" do you mean like what we use on car motors?
Can you get those for SBC boat motors?
I also have the 350 MAG EFI and am looking for more HP...Any other suggestions? Thanks

Small tube headers is a selection on my desk top dyno. Specifically what it means I am not sure, but guess it is 32" full runnered 1 3/4" or so headers. I imagine they are available for sbc, but have never investigated.
