Life expectancy of a 2000 502mpi??

I just looked at a 31' 2000 performance boat that has 502mpi's with 305 hours on them.

What is the expected life expectancy from these motors if maintained properly? 500hrs, 600 hrs??

I have a 454Mag MPI with about 500 hrs on it. It still seems to run strong. I did have my heads redone at about 250 hrs due to a faulty riser. I think if you take care of them they will last long beyond 500 hrs.

Try 2000 hrs, if you care for them properly. Saltwater is a different story.
