It sound like the 1/4" lines will drain when sitting not running and when running there will be some water coming out them. Probably such a small amount that it won't matter much. I like the idea and will put it on my boat.

These are "jacketed" Lightning headers, not water injected like a jet boat has.
This 1/4" line thing might also help relieve excessive water pressure that some people see at high rpm's.... it sounds like a sound theory to use and has practical usage behind it & it is easy to remove if there is a problem. Simple solution to a complex problem!! |

I was going to answer your question when cobra marty just did it for me. You nailed it Marty!That is how it works. One 1/4" per engine (use a Y or T pipe) doesn't affect the exhaust water flow or pressure at all. Make sure to use good clamps and hoses and seal the water dump well to the transom. Jonas. |

We have now installed these 1/4" dumps on a Fountain and a Sonic... It works awesome!! Thanks for the tips 38KV!!
