Any feedback- positive or negative is appreciated.

Are they water jacketed headers? Or wet headers where they are single walled and water is allowed to spray into the exhaust stream?

It sound like the 1/4" lines will drain when sitting not running and when running there will be some water coming out them. Probably such a small amount that it won't matter much. I like the idea and will put it on my boat.

These are "jacketed" Lightning headers, not water injected like a jet boat has.
This 1/4" line thing might also help relieve excessive water pressure that some people see at high rpm's....
it sounds like a sound theory to use and has practical usage behind it & it is easy to remove if there is a problem. Simple solution to a complex problem!!

DanB,

I was going to answer your question when cobra marty just did it for me.

You nailed it Marty! That is how it works.

One 1/4" per engine (use a Y or T pipe) doesn't affect the exhaust water flow or pressure at all.

Make sure to use good clamps and hoses and seal the water dump well to the transom.

Jonas.

Let me know if your are happy when you have tried it.

Good luck!
