You're bound to break 'em, no matter how you try to baby them. You wouldn't be on this website if you didn't feel a little tickle to rev up those 700s....and maybe even leave the water. #6s!

NO DRIVE SHOWER--NO MAX MARINE SHAFTS--NO CRYROGENICS--NOT EVEN THE DRIVE GOD CAN HELP THIS SET UP ON THIS TYPE OF BOAT. UNLESS HE HAS A BUNCH OF #6'S IN HIS BACK POCKET. DON'T FOOL YOUR SELF!!!!

You guys are right about the #6 drives. Especially for a boat that size. I just thought Steve David's boat is doing quite well for the size, weight, power and the amount of hours he has on his boat with stock Merc XR drives and no upgrades,----BUT I will have to concur that 6's are still the king.
