The only reason my machine shop bill will so small is that I have already swaped a tranny job for a chunk of my buddy the machinest labour. Gotta love the underground economy!!

Hard here too Crazyhorse. I hate feb. Oh well, makes the summer that much more enjoyable! Actually warm enough today to climb into the bilge and mount my msd boxes and remove the fuel lines to be replaced. Artic front from Michigan moving in over night, so back to winter. Thanks Crazy  Wish I was in Miami!

i have a stock 1999 7.4 gi (454 volvo penta ) on my Scarab 22 . the engine is in stock condition except the CMI headers... the book says it is around 330 hp...which is not satisfactory at all... can you make a package suggestion to bring the engine around 500 hp where the engine should be stable as it is today? which upgrades should i make step by step? and which parts would this require? thanks in advance |

All other components are as listed above, including cams. Do the internal components first. ie. cam and pistons. You might not see the bang for the buck until you get better flowing heads and intake. I believe you already upgraded your exhaust. |
