I was just looking at heads on Flatlanders site and saw the prolines look like a great deal anyone running them???

Do you mean Pro Topline? I am running them on my SBC and I swear by them. I didn't dyno them after I changed over from Dart Iron Eagles of the same advertised specs but I picked up almost 2 mph.

I run em on my sbc and most of the sbc's i put together unless asked otherwise... i've flowed a few pair and they are relatively close to advertised numbers. they are also economical, especially in the cast iron versions.

later in the year i'll be seeing how the sbf versions perform since i have a few windsors in the works...

i just don't think you can go wrong with them.. great performance capability, good machining, all of the bells and whistles... you can get them as bare castings or complete assemblies...

summit racing sells them both ways at reasonable prices.

anyone using them on Big blocks???? I wondered how they compair to my Merlin ovals????

I had talked to Flatlander last year about them and they say they are a better head than the merlin's. And for the price, assembled with inconel exhaust, stainless intakes, springs and retainers for $1650 sounds pretty good...
Anybody interested in a pair of 1 season old GM rectangular ports???????
