500efi Valve Springs, Help??
I know this has been covered before, but I feel I need to replace my Valve springs, I have a 2001 500efi w/ 280 hours.
1. Exactly what needs to be replaced, Valve springs, Lifters,??? and what mfg would you replace with, I have been told Isky?? 2. Anyone personally suggest a mech in VA ?? to do the work? All input is really appreciated when it comes to engines:crazy: WILL;) |
Will,
if your interested I have set of NEW ISKY 8005-A springs for that setup. They are currently on my new heads but I'm upgrading them for a larger cam. $75 delivered. Dave [email protected] |

Time for a new set of lifters if ya ask me. Ever seen a block explode when a lifter roller pin comes loose and hits the bottom of the lifter bore? Not a pretty site at all. And while you're at it, a new set of crane 1.8:1 rocker arms will pick up a bit of power for you.
