Most of your electronics catalogue guys will be pretty competitive on the color GPS units and who nows how cheap the internet guys are. One good thing about the Standard Horizon unit is their warranty is two years on a flat exchange basis, no waiting for repairs. That in itself should speak volumes about their quality. As for accuracy, with the new WASS technology they all seem about the same accuracy on speed. The only real accurate measurement seems to be the radar gun and on most boats its not good for your pride or ego. Just have fun and be happy with what you're playing with and remember someone is always faster! Thats Life!

I have a Garmin 2010C and I will keep it, very fast updates in all modes, good in sun, easy to use.
