500EFI fuel presure problems
I bought the Arizona speed -regulator kit that makes it adjustible . I did the instalation like it says .i noticed that they change the color now, At first it did not come with the springs and they sent them to me and didnt make any diff- . on one motor it will not ajust down far enough.its between 45-47 psi Too much presure .Its running rich at this pressure on this motor.I called asm and they were NO help.Has anybody had any experance with some thing like this.

If I were you I would send the whole regulator back to the guys at AS&M and let them bench test it. Sounds like the diaphram might be bad or the regulator is stuck. If you put the regulator together, make sure you didn't put the internals in backwards. When the pressure reaches the desired setting the diaphram sould open the port to the return line and bleed the pressure down to the setting. Good Luck Raylar;) |

Good Luck Raylar;) I tried calling ac delco which manf the regulator to try to get the orifice size and flow # they said they don't have those king of specks. supposedly he was one of the engineers |
Why are you playing with the fuel pressure? Have done other mods?
