Timing Chain Tightness

Which chain to use??
I have a Rollmaster billet set with a standard chain and a -.005 chain. I think these are the only options for this brand (or any other) on the planet for this Gen VI setup. Cloyes has NO minus anything for the Gen VI set at this time.
Problem is the slack, or lack of. The standard one freely moves about 5/16 in and out and feels a bit loose. The -.005 is somewhat of a chore to get on but does go on and I can move it “firmly” about 1/8 in and out. It seems a bit tight but the other seems loose. I’m assuming the chain is going to stretch a bit and am leaning towards the -.005.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Dave

5/16's is exceptable, but if the 5 under will go on, even if tight, use it. After a few hours of runnin, you're gonna get a little slak and it'll be perfect.
