I'm not sure about Velocity, but I'm fairly certain that Formula and more than likely Baja use chop. Again, not as structure, but rather an element of the package. If they do not use any chop, I want to know how they get flat hull sides. While it is possible to have flat hull sides with out chop, it is an expensive process with very little (and often times NO) benefit. Becareful if they tell you that they use a composite. No telling what that may be.

How do you prevent Blisters on a boat?? I have a 1993 Baja that doesn't have blisters now, but I have heard the dreadful stories of Baja's (and other's) with blisters some even newer than my boat!! It stay's on a trailer now and will only stay in the water for a weekend at a time......

There is a fine chop strand veil that is used to prevent pattern print-through. It is not chopper gun glass, and is used in hand laid hulls.
