Guessitimate This HP
Im thinking of just running my boat without the procharger this year and going N/A. Which carb should I use if I go this route, 750,800,850,900 dp holley or demon? The motor is a 502cid, 9-1 compression, Dart intake, Alum. Brodix bb-2 plus heads with port match and bowl work and exhaust polish, Crane 236/244 610/632 on 114 lobe center roller cam, roller rocker, Emi exhaust with stainless risers. Maybe put the blower on next year (after saving up for a bigger weapon). Any thoughts on similar combos that have been tested. Thanks ,Greg

850/900/even 950 HP4150 Holley or Demon.
Any bigger on the cam and I'd say definitely the 950, but the 741 will still work fine with the 850. Prolly knocking on 600hp. |
850 be plenty. . .plus keep the engine torquey. It's hard to beat the HP series from Holley.
