Keelguard For 24 Baja Outlaw
Does anyone know of any manufacturers of keelguards? I have just purchased my 24 Outlaw and am wanting to beach it at Hardy Dam but I do not want to tear the bottom up. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a place in Cedar Springs, Bassetts's Body Shop
616-696-1347. They put mine on and sure has saved the fiberglass. Have we met? I boat down there all the time. Great fun and good people. |
BHOCKETT thanks for the info we were up three times last year. I had a red 226 sport and my other friends have two checkmates and another baja. What type of boat do you have? Do you have a rough estimate of what the guard and installation cost? Did the boat have to be off of the trailer?

It cost me just under $200 a couple of year's back.
All I did was drop it off to him, and I went and got something to eat, he did the rest. They have a lift that gets the boat up enough so they can apply the Keelguard. My boat is a 2001 ZT240 Checkmate, white with black checkerboard and red outline. Also a horse head on the side. I believe I'm the only one down there with this color combo and a horse head. |
BHOCKETT thanks for the info. Do you know Wette Vette? Our crew consisted of my red 226 Sport Wette Vette's 210 Sport, a white 89 blown checkmate, a 97 242 convincor and a white 23 ft. velocity.

Sounds like we may have met.
We'll have to hook up, tell some stories and drink some boat soda's. Let me know when your heading down this summer. Brian |
