496HO exhaust
 

Any body change there stock exhaust to aftermarket manifold or headers with the 496HO,If so what gains was it worth it or not, also what brand and model.

I was going to.. but talked to Dustin at whipple, and he said they had changed to E-tops, and a sort-of, sport tubes (longer runner), and said the hp and torque gains were very small... i was also talking about doing a chip at the same time and they were planning on changing to a header but after some testing said they weren't gaining that much from the exhaust change.
Call whipple and ask.

What about whipples stage two kit, I want to gain 4-7mph and spend up to $3000 or a bit more, and dont really want to pull the motor, any ideas.

Talk to dustin.. he has done alot of testing with those engines... i don't think you have to change the exhaust with any of the chips now.
