Sandblasting tip for indoors with no mess

I wanted to strip and repaint the ends of my trim cyl. rams w/o removing them or pulling the boat outdoors.
Used my Sears blaster with a hopper.

What I did was take an old pillow case and tape the opening over the end of the ram to hold it up, but leave enough of an opening to get the sand blaster nozzle inside the pillowcase. Have to use something that will breath, not a plastic bag. That will turn into a large balloon very fast! I did place the pillow case inside a trashbag to catch the dust that will blow thru it, but left it open at the top for venting. Just put the nozzle inside the pillowcase, aim towards the area to blast, and hold the case closed around the nozzle then blast away. Blast for a bit, then peek inside and reaim and hit it again.

I just did this inside my garage and didn't even have to sweep up when done.

BTW, the pillow case gets thrown away when done as it gets kinda ate up. Don't use the wifes cases that were hand sewn by her great grandmother.

Just thought I would pass this along.

Seems a much larger cabinet would be needed to fit the boat and all in...

Good tip, I will have to remember that one..
