ssm-v & bulldog500

I just got ,here in Brazil,a pair of ssm-v drives and have some questions: they were mounted since new ,inverted for about 150hours( left drive mounted to starboard and vice-versa).Could this be a problem for fadigue reasons?I just finished a new design /hull , two step ,40 feet long, 8000# displ. and will be installing the drives ,so any help for " X" measurements for this tipe of drives ( only four in Brazil ).the drive's ratio upper/lower is 1.5:1 total and I have a pair of Rolla"s stainless 4 blade 16.25 x 22 ( would it work). For the engine I found a inner spring broken ( triple sprigs??) the roller is "Crane gold ".The manuals tels double spring....maybe I got an engine already " worked"??

As far as the springs, you probably have a dual spring with damper in it.
