Bravo Drives

Do bravo drives live longer spinning one direction vs the other? Setting up triple engine boat and wondering which way to spin the center drive. I'm running 1.36:1 ratio probably spinning 32P Bravo1's all on Imco extension boxes, 2"short lowers. Thanks for any help.

Kind of goes both ways.See alot of both RH and LH stock drives let go. But it may live a little longer swinging a RH prop on the center (don't know though what Hustler does w/ rotation). Race towers and billet caps will help.

In my experience, the uppers in the left-hand usually let go more frequently. Every center triple I've seen spins clockwise.

Top cap upgrades pretty much even the field.

Most centers are RH cause props are cheaper. No need to spin 2 "extra cost" props. Boat's weight distribution will be set up for one direction or the other. A change will require redistributing some weight.

MCollinstn, I've heard several stories re: new top caps. In your opinion, they make a difference? Do you have any info (or have a site I could click on) that says more about them?
