Little crush or compression washers?!?
Where in the heck can I get the little nylon or plastic compression washers for the hook up for my water pressure fitting on the engine block?
I can't find them at west or eddie or anywhere. It's a small hose and the setup screws into the block and has a small fitting that the hose fits on, then a compression washer and then a nut with the center cut out for the hose goes over it. This is driving me nuts I need 1 but I would like to get a bunch, The fitting that the hose goes to has no barbs. help if you can. Thanks Mike |
Mike,
Are you sure its not a flaired fitting with no washers needed? I'm planning on being in the water next weekend you going to be out? later Dave |
Hi Dave,
No the fitting is strait, no flare and no barbs. Althouhg I could replace it with such if I could find one of those. Next weekend I am going to Dallas to see the neck car race. Friend has rented a condo that overlooks track. It's half condo and half skybox so I am pretty pumped. But I will be out the following weekend if I can find the part I need :D |
Von, try some of the local hardware stores. I know Westlake carries a lot of that of that stuff.

if all else fails... you can order a million of them from www.bokers.com........:D

Check out the auto parts stores. Those same parts are used on the air hose for the Hadley air horns. Hadley sells them in a bag as replacement parts. I have a bag of them out in my garage somewhere. They've saved my a$$ on quite a few jobs.:)
