edelbrock performer 2.0

I am planing to switch out my stock cast iron intakes for the 2.0 I am putting them on 330 h.p 454's does anybody know how much power will increase?

My original power was a stock 330 and I ran 58 total stock in a 4400 lb 24. My first mod was the 2.0 intake. I think it ran just a touch better but with no GPS etc. hard to tell. Don't do it for the top end cause it just wont do it. The midrange lost a flat spot and it did seem to run better at cruise speed (less throttle advance for the same RPM). As part of an overall long range plan it may be worth doing if the part was cheap or laying around but be aware that the intake won't support the large oval or rectangular port heads. For the small amount of labor it would be worth it for the midrange punch.

That intake probably won't work if you go serious down the road. Wrong port size.

Subsequent to the 2.0 I have re-powered with a 502 with blower and headers and just touch 80. Did this in steps by going 502 stock exhaust then headers and then the blower. The best bang for the buck was the crate 502.

Thank's for the info, I have both engines out for rebuild, just couldnt put those hevy rust stock manifolds back on! I also raised the compression up to a little over 8.5 it's a cruiser so I don't expect a whole lot it only runs about 50m.p.h

For a cruiser I would do it based on what mine felt like in mid range. Occasionally I would drop the tabs and bury the drive when it got real snotty and I would have to advance the throttle a fair amount to maintain speed. With the 2.0 I it required very little throttle to keep the speed up.
