Extension box question?????
 

Need a little help on this one.

How much should I expect to pay for these parts??

1. 12" straight extension box for a bravo 1
2.drive shaft for unit
3. Wing plate needed to put my existing hydraulic steering system on.

Surely someone come up with better than what I did!! I was told about 6 grand with labor.

Also, who would have a good price on these parts??

I paid 2k for a complete extension box and wing plate. Naturally this didn't include installation. A while back I saw some boxes for sale for 1k. For that price, they proably got snatched up pretty quick. If you are interested, I do have a wing plate that will allow you to use your existing rams. It's a very heavy and durable piece.

The box will cost about $2,900 new and be complete with the driveshaft and all required parts. A wing plate new is about $480. The engine must be removed to remove the drive assembly. Typically you must raise the X-dimension to benefit from the box. If 6 grand was to raise the engine, install new engine mounts, repair the transom and alter the exhaust your about right.
