CMI Headers

I have a set of CMI headers that are satin finish and I was wondering can you powder coat those?
Would it be better to jet hot or use airborne coatings for something like that?
Thanks Sean

Regular automotive paint does work. I had mine painted for most of the year. The problem is that I lost a water pump and it cooked the paint. Didn't destroy the finish, but it definitely has some funk in it.

Yeah, if you never lose a water pump impeller, powder coating will be fine.

If you lose an impeller and run it till the horn sounds, your powder will look like it has leprosy.

looks like i'll be getting a call:D

That is correct. If I paint the headers black you can fix my truck at the same time.

It works great. The lowers were black from the factory. You may see some texture in yours from the satin finish

Those are the same headers that I have. You painted them with auto paint also?
Just curious why not the entire header?
Looks great

I bought the lowers used. I think they were made for the military. I purchased the uppers from CMI later.
