dt85 power loss
the power loss (limp home) that i get does not go away when it comes..... when i get it i shut down the engine and wait about 5 minutes.... sometimes it powers up like normal but the power loss comes back again after a while and sometimes its there straight away..... if i try increasing the throttle while the loss of power is there there is a slight surging sound from the engine as if it wants to take off again but is being held back..
also the tilt and trim has started to stop working intermitantly. when the tilt is used to raise or lower the engine when it is out of the water it works at first but slows down as if the battery is going flat. then it stops alltogether and i just get a click from the solenoids.. any ideas on the above would be greatly appreciated..
