Flywheel interchange?

Hey guys, anbody know if the flywheel off an HP500 is the same as a GM auto transmission flywheel for a 502? I think the GM part # is 10185034. That's 90 bucks, compared to mercruiser's 350 bucks (part # 230-843374T1)....

hoping it's all the same.....

Thanks.!

The part number i have for GenV & VI is #14096987 which is the manual transmission flywheel. Cost is around $103.

Wouldn't the piece for the GM auto be a Flex Plate instead of a Flywheel?

That's why I love this board. Thanks guys, I didn't know it would be the manual flywheel.....

Thanks again.!

You should still be able to use a GM manual (flywheel) and save money. All's Merc does is tack a little more one the price and resells it in their box:(
