Any OSO memebers on here distribute them?
Looking at replacing all 3 of mine
Currently have leaf and want to go with torsion.


is it difficult to change?

also want to go from drum to disc

I need the inner frame width and the width of the frame material itself (aluminum or steel) for the torsion mounting holes and the type of bake coupler you have.
Also need the rated capacity of the trailer (GVWR), tire size you are using, Number of lugs in your hubs and the distance from the spindle to the fender vertically.
Generally you will have to modify the coupler when converting from drum to disk.

I will get the measurements this coming week, maybe tomorrow it the rain does not come.

Maybe I will have to stay with drum becuase the actuator is built into the trainler tongue. All one peice.

How much$$$ of a ball park are axles like this?

it currently a 3,000lb trailer
gvwr is 9,000
and i am only running 3400lb axles. to close to max load :(

14" tires 5 hole.

3500lb torsions are around $375.00 + shipping. I am ballparking here. I will have to check on Monday. I may be able to save you some by having them drop shipped. Spacing will be the determining factor on availibility.

I will get you the instructions for modifying your drum actuator to disk. It's relativly simple. The brand and model is needed. I am assuming you have the reverse lock out solenoid on your actuator.

HI TECH- I have a myco 1993 tandem 12,000# for 35 Lightning. Cannot get a jack under the middle of leaf springs close to the wheel. Is it ok to just jack on the round axle tube as close as possible to the wheel? I don't have enough clearence to where I prefer to locate.

Downtown, Myco uses a heavy axle tube in their trailers. Spring axles take all types of flexural loads in tow. I have a 42 Fountain in the yard with a Myco needing some repair work and jacked it in the same location. The axle on your trailer should be fine locating the jack just inside the springs.
