Paint for Engine Bay

What paint should one use in the engine bay? What do you need to do to prep the area being painted?

I use Interlux BilgeKote. I like white as it is easier to spot leaks. Also, it doesn't require primer.

Scrape, sand, and then wipe down with something strong enough to remove any greasy film, yet evaporate completely dry. I use acetone, and have probably lost some braincells in the process. Good ventillation is a plus.

Have fun,
Brian

I used bilgekote last year. Still looks good. Use a good grease cutter, scuff then brake clean. Also used charcoil respirator.

Here it is a year later. I did do some minor touchup but still going strong.

Thanks offthefront. 468s and the closed cooling is aftermarket. Not sure of the brand, I just rerigged it a little for my use.
