The Mag is on its way to Jackson, MS. Yes I bought a set of slightly used Lightnings. With the 502 I am putting in and the headers I hope to have about a 80-100 HP increase at the prop. I bought the 502 from Bruce Dudley here on OSO. Basically it is a 502 Mag with a slightly larger cam. Stock heads and valve sizes. He is in St. Louis which is convenient for me becasue I travel there often. We will have the engine on a dyno near the end of March. Had Tom Hyde pull the old engine yesterday. I'll have to say I was a little nervous tearing into this thing. I've never done major surgery on a boat. Hopefully everything works out in the end!!!!!!!!!!!
