Intake valve length? Merlins...

I need some intake valves for my merlin oval ports anyone know what the length is off the top of your heads????

If they are the 3/8" stem stuff, then stock length of 5.225", most of the 11/32" stem stuff is a .100" longer.

I'M SURE YOU KNOW THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT INSTALLED HEIGHT YOU NEED BUT FOR AN INSTALLED HEIGHT OF 1.925-1.950 WHICH IS WHAT YOU WOULD NEED FOR A HYDRAULIC HYDRAULIC ROLLER OR FLAT TAPPET A VALVE OF 5.250. MOST MANUFACTURERS MAKE THEM IN 5.300 YOU MAY NEED TO RUN A SPRING CUP TO GET YOUR INSTALLED HEIGHT. A SPRING CUP IS A GOOD IDEA ANYWAY TO KEEP THINGS STRAIGHT.
