Air bag setup on the rear
Looking at the Load Rite or Firestone bags
or overlaod springs?

I have clearance for both, but with the air bags I need to remove the rear wheel inner shield. So you would be able to see through the wheel wells
the springs fit without.
I had overloads on my old suburban and they worked great. I have never had the air bags

going on a 1998 Dodge 360 Quad short box.

also haul my avt in the bed several weekends a month.

When your truck sits down on the overloads your kidneys will wish you bought the air bags.

Try www.airliftcompany.com bags made with Firestone rubber. My dad has them on his F250 superduty and they are awesome. Empty ride is much improved and you just push a for the amount of air to improve or level a loaded ride.

Will be putting them on my brand new F350 CC Superduty shortly

I used TIMBREN, they are hollow rubber springs. I put them on my f250 and they are fantastic. no compressor, no air lines to leak and they are resonable. you put them on in place of the rubber snubber over the spring. they only work when needed. You'll love em.

Like I said in one of my replies to your previous thread. Firestone makes a part number that installs without removing your fender liners. It's also a no drill install.

Moot point since you alread got some bags though. :D

Buck, every place I looked into on the Firestone bags had driling required.
Acording ot the ones I bought I can stiff run the fender skirts also with little trimming.

Firestone bags were at least 60-80 more then what I paid for these :)

Thanks for the heads up on that troutly, I did read that in the manual and will look at it tonight.

I love the Super Air springs I put in
But now getting tired of inflating htem manually and deflating them when done towing.
Looking at the on board compressor
Anyone have a suggestion as if the Load Controller 1 or 2 is needed.
I would like to just but the Controller 2 single gauge, but I do not want the air to transfer between the two.
Anyone have a good price on them?

I use the load control 1 one and have put a bigger compressor on it to fill faster. My compressor is a Viar pump, instead of the plastic one in the load 1 kit. hope this helps. As for the air between the 2bags it will ballance itsself out, I took my bag feed line and went to the middle over the rearend and then put a (T) fitting to each bag with the same lenght of hose.

I have the same bag but under an X. I put them together completely and slipped them in. I then tightened things down, that way, like Troutly said, you can get the correct angle. If it wern't for the bumpstops having to be removed I would have been done in 2 hours, it took 2 1/2 because of them. I run 5psi but in my Dodge I ran 0 for 189,000 miles and they never leaked, cracked or punctured, even when packed in ice from winter.
