Sloppy Rack
 

My 22’ Scarab uses the Telesux rack & pinion steering, Over time is has become sloppy. Is there an adjustment somewhere I can tighten it up? Right now to go straight the steering wheel is turned about 45-deg off center. Can this be adjusted or is it just plain worn out?

Probably just wore out. This may be a safety issue. They are not much to replace.

It could be a problem with your gimbal ring being worn also. Before replacing anything you might want to have a pro look at it.
