Gaffrig Switchable Muffler ?
 

can I run a set of Gaffrig switchable mufflers with a Merc pump for silent choice? I see i can buy thr tips for $250 a pair......

help anyone?

Switchable tips for 250.Tell me where.The cheapest thing I could find close to switchables were drew shot guns for 450 a pair.They work pretty good but I miss the testosterane switch.I find the boat a lot quieter at full throttle than the silent choice setup as well.

Not to thread jump here but I have a pair of the switchables actually 2 pair that I need to off load. They are listed in the classifieds as well, will do all 4 for 500.00 no ship fee's. THey need to be polished back out is all. email for some pics if interested. John

For $250.00 you will surely get the small mufflers and no pump or plumbing hardware. For me, I had the Bandit's. They really did look great. Didn't fit a 4.00" standard exhaust pipe as advertised though. To their credit, they did replace them with four that were sized correctly. The replacements actually would fit over my pipes which are long through transom Stainless Marine risers. After about a month, they started randomly sticking shut.Not good. Sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes three. About then, one of my new Gaffrig oil pressure gauges started sticking at 0 lb. Not too much later my new Gaffrig shifters with trim in the handle started rubbing/grinding badly. I now have CMI switchable mufflers that work great, Zero Effort shifters that work great and Stewart Warner gauges. Still want Gaffrig mufflers ? Maybe Mike Livorsi will get things going in the right direction with the new name and such. They sure sell a lot of equipment. Maybe I just had bad luck !

The boat I just bought came with a set of those mufflers. They look great, but my compressor is frozen. Anyone have a Gaffrig compressor laying around?

I Have A Used Twin Engine Set ( 4 Mufflers) Of 4 Inch Transom Mount Bandits For 1000 And A Twin Engine Set Of 4 Inch Clamp On Powertip For 650. Does Not Include Pump Hose Fittings Ect.
