ron/gas 87 or 93 octane
 

If use a lower octane 87 in my truck it will get 10.9 on the dream o meter guage from the factory??

if I go to 93 octane it bumps up to 11.9 to 12.3 is this just the guage being wrong or mydriving changed or what ?? this is what it shows. although the difference in price doesn't make up for it.

but its weird, I have put the lower octanes in and it has seemed to run quicker or has more torque??:rolleyes:
this is in the hemi,but in the Nissan you tell or hear and feel it really needs a higher octane especially for passing.is this a mental thing:rolleyes: :D or what?
