Lock-Tight for Fiberglass

Anyone have suggestions for something to put on threads of screws for things like snaps and trim where the holes have gotten a little too big over the years? After mine comes back from paint, I have a few that would probably strip the fiberglass when tightened to a reasonable torque.

Drill out the holes and fill with a small dowel (1/16") sink the dowel a few thou and cover with Marine Tex. Redrill the new hole and it looks like new.

Dip the tip of the screw in a little fiberglass resin......instant loctite after the resin is hard. Seems to hold up well.
