Head ? Regarding HP500
The long and short of it. I have a Whippled HP500EFI. The blower seal was leaking and it consequently caused a lean run that took the head gasket between 4-6-8 cylinders. It "cut" the block and head. The block can be decked so no big deal. Now the question, is anyone running BB2 heads on this application???? I know the benefit of reduced detonation through the addition of the aluminum heads, ie. heat dissipation, but has anyone done any dyno testing to see if there are any appreciable gains in hp from the addition of the BB2 heads. I know there is a great deal of benefit on a naturally aspirated engine, and of course there is some on a blower mtr, but I am interested in some real world numbers. Thanks for any info. Sam
