How do I Remove and Replace TRS Bell Housing et al
 

I'm going to replace Bellhousing, gimbal ring etc on transom of my boat.

Is there a simple (minded) way for one person (simple minded person) to do that job?

I'm trying to see how to keep the inner transom plate in place while outer assembly comes off and while waiting to attach?

my buddy just did the same thing with a bravo he drilled threw the inner plate and screwed it to the transom.when reinstalling the new gimbal it went easy and the alignment was mint.
