Mpi Miss!!
 

I have a 2001 350 mag MPI that was just rebuilt and I am getting a pretty significant miss at WOT out of the hole and at 4000 rpms. The cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and fuel pump are all new. My mechanic is scratching his head. He says the timing is correct, but it sounds like a timing issue or a fuel starvation issue to me. It runs perfectly if I dont give it full throttle or stay under 4000 rpms. (I was thinking a bad fuel pressure regulator valve or a bad injector) ANY IDEAS FOR ME...

I ran into this last year and banged my head against a wall for a long time (502Mag MPI) and finally it was a ground happening only at hi RPM in the wiring harness. We found it while running with a diagnostic tool plugged and the thing shut off when the miss happened. No error code either just electrical miss.
