robyw1, one thing you can do is silicon the bolt that holds the balancer on, that keeps the oil from weeping out the front of the engine.

I had exact samething. Took all summer before I found the problem. Blower motor and oil getting past the key. Just a very light film in the 'sling line'. Filled the keyway with RTV, reinstalled the large washer and crankbolt and all was dry there after.

My 500 hp's are bone stock. Any one know where I should look for this oil leak. It is defiantly not spraying out under pressure.

remove the crankbolt and see if it is wet with oil. My motor had the breather tubes, so block was not pressurized by the blower. The backside of my balancer was always dry also. The oil was flinging out between the balancer and crank pulley mating surfaces.
