Missing RPM
 

Got the boat out for the first time this weekend. Best run was 4400. Last season was running 5k all day long.

Before last season-
New champion platinums
New Magstar wires
fresh oil, engine and drive

Before this season
New NGK's
fresh oil engine and drive

Figured first time out would be a fluke with the old gas in it, ran that out, put half tank of 90, was getting 4400.

Last year I easily did 125 hours on the boat. Could the wires need to be replaced again? I doubt the Platinum to NGK's would cause the loss, both are gapped the same, to .35.

Or.... Is there another thing I should check? Is the hull possibly waterlogged from the winter?

Get rid of the fat chicks and take a smaller cooler :drink:

Gummed up carb would be my first guess.
