NGK IRIDIUM IX Plugs

I have always used NGK BR6 FX plugs as per my merc manual and also,NGK's a carry over from my outboard days. I see that NGK has a listing for a Iridium plug. Does anybody have any experience with them, good or bad? I really don't put that many hours on a set between changes. Maybe 100 Hours. It might not be worth it but I would like to feel I use the best parts I can buy. Thanks Doug

Platinium Iridium are basically made for cars so they can go 100-150k between tune ups, if you change plugs ever year like most do in marine apps they have no benefit except making your wallet lighter
