CD Changer questions

My sonic had a Pioneer Premier head unit and 6 disk changer installed. I have pulled out the head unit and went with a Sony so i can use Sony's Digital display remote on my dash. I wanted to keep the CD changer, but the Pioneer CD Changer plug is a square looking plug that will not fit the Sony head unit beacuse that plug is round.

Do i need to buy a Sony CD changer, or is there an adapter plug that i can buy to make the Pioneer work with the Sony head unit??

Also..........

The Sony is an "XM Ready" unit. I have a GPS antenna on that boat. Someone said i may be able to use the GPS antenna for the XM system. How does this all work ?

Re: CD Changer questions

You could have waited on the pioneer. They have come out with a wired remote. But you will have to get a new changer no adapters are available. I have not tried using the gps for xm. I always use a xm antenna.
