Help!
I dripped superglue on my gelcoat and I can't get it off. I tried laquer thinner and no luck. I didn't want to rub laquer thinner on there to lang as for fear of screwing it up. Any suggestions??

Re: Help!
if you have a good coat of wax on the baot then you should be able to just take a small flat head screwdriver and "tap" it off the gel. Hit the glue part not the gel and do it shallow in reguards to the gel surface. Other then that i cant be of any service :(

Re: Help!
I think straight acetone will cut through superglue and normally doesn't harm fiberglass or gel. Paint is another issue...

Re: Help!
I'd try acetone.

Re: Help!
o, go ahead and put a bunch of other chemicals on there...it most likely will discolor it as well as your gel coat (yellowish). then after you get it off use metal compound to remove the discolor....flitz works the best.

Re: Help!
There is a super glue remover for those people that get their fingers stuck together. :D
