Pulse drives???
 

There's an old guy who lives up the canal from me and cruises by occasionally in an older, but very cool looking, open V (I think the manufacturer is Livorsi?). Next to the "Livorsi" name on the hull is a decal which reads "Pulse Drives". Due to the configuration of his swim-step, I can't see the drives. When the boat drives past, the sound is unique and the wake being kicked up doesn't appear to be that of a dog-leg.

So...what the heck is a pulse drive? Is it a jet? Who makes/made 'em?

Thanks! I can practically walk to their HQ from here.

Looks good on paper. Any downside to their set-up?
