Water In Engine Oil
 

I have a friend who has a 93 502 with b&m blower. He had the engine out being dynoed. When he got the engine back, he took off the oil filter and the oil had a milky appearance. He tore down the engine, checked the head gaskets, which were okay. He had a leak down test performed - everything okay. Checked the headers for leaks - no leaks. Any ideas where the water is coming from?

I had a 502 crack form improper winter storage. The mechanic said they eighter crack in the valley under the intake manifold or down low below the pistons. I would be its craked in one of these palces if leakdown is good. But im no expert,but did learn alot putting new engines in my scarab last summer.Did it ever overheat. The guys dynoing it probably overheated it???????? Why was it getting dynoed anyway?

pull the pushrods and do a leakdown with Pistons at BTC ....(Bottom)

Engine Was Out Due To A Broken Starter Plate That Had To Be Welded. So He Had It Dynoed To Check It Out. Pulled The Motor Out And Ran It Without The Oiler Cooler, Or, Headers, And The Same Milky Oil Occured. When Winterizing The Engine, He Could Not Run It, So He Drained The Block And The Headers, And Pulled The Thermostat And Filled With Antifreeze. The Block Should Have Been Full.
