28" pitch bravo one's

Hi Guys.

Can you help me?

I would like to buy a pair of 4 Four blade bravo 1's 28".

I use 27" mirages @ 4600 WOT

What sort of power increase do you think I might need to get these to work and what should I pay second hand?

I have a brother in MI who would do the forward shipping to me in the UK.

Steve

I Think You Will Need 26" Four Blade. 28's Are To Big If You Only Get 4600 Rpm With 27 Three Blades.

I'd guess you'll lower your RPM by 200 and prob your top speed a little.
Go to" go-fast.com" and use the knowledge base to find your HP/wieght now and calculate the power need to increase speed the desired amount. More R's = more hp most of the time.Your sweet spot with most factory BB's is 5000-5200 or so ,less will slow you down.

Thanks for that, and sorry I didnt put this down too well. I wasnt planning on bolting them on straight away.

I am changing heads and carbs and just wondered what sort of uplift in power would be needed. A rough guide?

Good deals are rare.

Do you run the Hydro's now or were they just a trial thing.

What do they do for your boat. I have never tried them at all on anything,
