jpclear-- Don't know how the monster's running-weather's been terrible. Plan to get out this week. If you plan on getting up here sometime, give me call (585 425-1678) and we'll go out on Lake Ontario and puree some salmon. I usually leave the dock 9-10 AM during the week if I go out. Seriously, the boat just wails. Helicoils ARE fine, inserts/twin-serts even better. Where you get into trouble (myself included) is when you deck the block, mill the heads, then have to deal with sides, front/rear of the intake/blower manifold. If not not a perfect alignment, holes tapped into aluminum won't last long as you well know. How's "The Martini" running? gForce (Lou)
