Alpha shift cable help
 

anybody know where i can get the cable clamp and end adapter for merc alpha shift and throttle. i switched from the stock assemblies to 3300c extreme cables. the stock cables had a molded plastic end and a through bolt that held the cable jacket. my new cables have the standard 10-32 end and a shouldered jacket end. i think i can just get threded hiem(sp?) joints for the carb cable but how do i adapt the housing mount to the through bolt style and the shifter end? hope this pic explains my situation. thanks all.

that bolt just above the cable with the nylocks on it is where i need to put the cable. just below that is one of the stock merc style fittings (its the rear cable and was replaced with a stock unit. this is an alpha with the ignition interupter).

Morse & Teleflex sell a kit (palstic). West, Boat US, Overtons should all have it. If you are stuck let me know and I can get you one. $12 or so sticks in my mind for both cables.
