525SC blower capacity

Anybody know the oil capacity (ounces) of the supercharger oil for a 525SC?

The Merc manual I have doesn't indicate the capacity. It says to use 90 Wt. Gear lube and to fill both the front and rear cases. Dipstick for the front, fill until it runs out the rear fill plug. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck! Lou

I don't know the exact capacities. Don't really need to since it is nearly impossible to get all the lube out of them. I just suck out as much as I can and use the fill/sight hole for the rear and add slowly in the front and check the dipsick frequently while adding small amounts.

The dipstick is kind of hard to read with the oil being so clear after a change.

Yes it is. I usually just pull it out and and look for the lube in the indention on the dipstick. If I'm not sure, I lay it on a paper towel.
