Re: engine oil dye leak detection?

We use have three different dye's at the GM dealer I work for.
Engine oil, Cooling system , and transmission. All work very well with the proper light and there are several. Some do seem to light the dye better than others but they all show up bright yellow.

Good luck.

thanks for all of the replys fellas.

I ended up borrowing an actual mechanics ultraviolet light. (way too expensive to buy one just to use it once or twice). Anyway leak showed up plain as day with the proper light.
